Backbone.js: Track your gym workouts with this HTML5 powered web app
I try to get to the gym on a regular basis. I found that running on the treadmill was getting harder and harder, because I had no sense of accomplishment. Was I doing better than before, or was I just staring at a mirror on the wall hours every week? I wasn’t keeping track of my progress, so I wrote a quick web app to help me.
I call it Workout Book; super creative name, I know. Graph your progress, see how much better you did than before. Feel accomplished… ’n stuff.
The app it self is written with Backbone.js, uses localstorage to stroe your data, and is responsive. Use it on your mobile device, add it to your iPhone Homescreen. Checkout the source here. Try the app here: http://workouts.coon-and-friends.com/.
